Q&A with the filmmaker immediately following the screening.
As 1999 drew to a close, producer/director Kathryn L Beranich (The Unlikely Story of the Lesbians of First Friday) interviewed a diverse group of 100 lesbians and asked them the same three questions: What event do you think had the most impact on lesbians in the last Century? What was the most significant event in your life as a lesbian? And, what is the most important issue facing lesbians as we enter the 21st Century? Woven together, the answers create a history of the social construct of lesbians in the 20th Century. Originally released in 2004, the Lesbian Centennial Project charmingly captures the issues of the day and presents a look back at where we came from.
This exclusive Women on the Net screening marks the first time this documentary has been seen in fifteen years.
