About the Artist
Catherine Opie is an influential contemporary Los Angeles photographer and professor of photography at UCLA. Her photographs investigate queer culture and personal history, creating work informed by her experiences as a lesbian. She is known for her portraits exploring the Los Angeles LGBT and leather community. Opie’s work is included in collections at the Museum of Modern Art and the Guggenheim Museum in New York City.

About the Presenter
Debra Reabock is a San Francisco abstract photographer that transforms imagery of modern, urban architecture and nature into unusual geometric shapes, forms, and stunning designs. She is passionate about raising awareness of 20th /21st Century female artists. In 2021, Debra launched the Art Salon series to support that mission.
